Recipe ingredients:

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (395g / 14 oz)
  • 200g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped (about 7 oz)
  • 1 cup cocoa powder

Instructions:

Place the chopped semi-sweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.

Add the sweetened condensed milk to the melted chocolate. Stir thoroughly until you have a silky, fully combined mixture.

Add ½ cup of cocoa powder, stirring until smooth. Then add the remaining ½ cup, mixing again until the mixture is completely homogeneous and thick.

Line a glass dish or container with plastic wrap, pour in the mixture, and smooth the surface. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours, or until firm enough to slice.

Once chilled, lift the dessert out using the plastic wrap, dust the top with extra cocoa powder, cut into squares, and enjoy!
