- 7 bananas, sliced
- 395 grams/14 ounces (1 can) sweetened condensed milk
- 200 grams/7 ounces heavy cream
- 1 liter of milk (33.81 fl oz)
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract (vanilla essence)
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions:
In a saucepan, mix the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and cornstarch until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
Add the milk and place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Pour the thickened mixture into a serving glass bowl and refrigerate for about 3 hours until set.
Make the Caramel Sauce:
In a separate saucepan, add the sugar and heat over medium heat until it melts and turns golden brown.
Carefully add the water to the melted sugar (it may splatter) and stir until fully dissolved to form a caramel syrup.
Add the banana slices to the caramel sauce and cook for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
Assemble the Dessert:
