Recipe Ingredients:
- 450 grams (16 oz) of shredded chicken (seasoned to taste)
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml / 12 oz) of milk
- 2 tablespoons of grated cheese
- 1 cup (240 ml / 8 oz) of oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups (240 grams / 8.5 oz) of all-purpose flour (wheat flour)
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
Instructions:
Add the eggs, oil, milk, grated cheese, wheat flour, and salt to a blender and blend for about 2 minutes. Then, add the baking powder and blend for another 15 seconds to incorporate it into the batter.
Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured baking dish. Spread the seasoned shredded chicken evenly over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the chicken to cover it.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Place the pie in the oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
