Start by prepping all the ingredients. Carefully slice each sausage lengthwise—don’t cut all the way through—to create a pocket.
Insert a slice of cheese into each sausage so that it becomes stuffed. If you’d like them crispier and more golden, lightly brush with olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper or your favorite seasonings.
Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place the stuffed sausages inside, leaving space between them so they cook evenly.
