- 300g shredded mozzarella cheese (about 10.5 oz)
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 egg

Instructions:
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, cornstarch, and egg. Add a pinch of salt if desired to enhance the flavor. Mix well, then knead with your hands until you get a smooth, uniform dough that doesn’t stick to your fingers.
Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a lightly greased baking tray. Transfer to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes so they firm up before frying.
Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Fry the cheese balls in batches, turning them to brown evenly. Once they’re golden and crispy, remove and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
