How to Make Cake without wheat flour and milk

A simple-to-make cake with a delightful flavor and fluffy texture. Perfect for those looking for something different or with dietary restrictions. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of cornmeal (4.9 oz)
  • 1/2 cup of oil (4 fl oz)
  • 1 cup of cornstarch (4.9 oz)
  • 1 cup of sugar (7.1 oz)
  • Juice of 1 lemon, plus water to make 1/2 cup (4 fl oz) – (120ml)
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions:

In a blender, combine the eggs, sugar, oil, salt, lemon juice mixed with water, cornmeal, and cornstarch. Blend for 1 minute until smooth.
Add the baking powder and pulse briefly to mix.

Grease a 9×13-inch glass baking dish with margarine and a bit of oil. Pour the batter into the dish and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes.

After baking, remove from the oven, serve, and enjoy your deliciously simple cake
