Recipe ingredients:
- ½ cup all-purpose flour (or as needed to reach the right consistency)
- 7 oz (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1.1 lb (500 g) potatoes, peeled, cubed, and cooked
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
Place the cooked potatoes in a mixing bowl and mash them well using a fork until smooth. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and salt, mixing to combine.
Gradually add the flour, mixing with your hands until you form a smooth, uniform dough that doesn’t stick to your fingers.
Take a small portion of the dough, shape it into a ball, then flatten it in your hands to form a patty (like a mini burger). Repeat the process with the remaining dough and place the patties on a plate or tray.
Heat a lightly buttered nonstick skillet over low heat. Fry the patties on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
