• ½ cup (4 fl oz / 120 ml) milk
• 4 tablespoons (2 oz / 57 g) butter
• ½ cup (4 fl oz / 120 ml) water
• 2 cups (14 oz / 400 g) sugar

Instructions:

Gather all the ingredients and place them in a saucepan over high heat. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Once it starts bubbling, turn off the heat and remove the pan.

Stir continuously until the mixture turns a caramel-like color. Pour it into a greased pan and let it cool completely.
