Recipe Ingredients:
- 10.5 ounces of dulce de leche (300g)
- 7 ounces of sour cream (200g)
- 5 ounces of chilled whipped cream – (150ml)
- 8.8 ounces of ladyfinger cookies (250g)
- Milk for dipping
TIP: If you prefer crunchier cookies, do not dip them in milk during assembly!
Instructions:
Using a mixer, beat the very cold whipped cream to a firm consistency. Now add the dulce de leche and continue beating until incorporated. OBS: Reserve some of the dulce de leche for assembling!
Then add the cream and mix gently with a spatula until it forms a smooth cream.
Then, using the back of a spoon, spread some of the reserved dulce de leche on the sides and bottom of the dish. Then pour some of the cream on top.
Then quickly soak the cookies in the milk, making sure they don’t get soggy, and layer them on top of the cream. Now we’ll repeat the layers, alternating the ingredients until all are used, finishing with dulce de leche to decorate.
Finally, put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving, so that it is well chilled and the flavors intensify.
