How to Make Coconut Dessert

Dessert with few ingredients is very simple to make. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 packet of unflavored gelatin powder
  • 100 grams of shredded coconut (approximately 1 cup)
  • 1 can of heavy cream with whey (approximately 14 ounces)
  • 1 can of milk (use the cream can as a measure, approximately 14 ounces)
  • 1 bottle of coconut milk (200 ml, approximately 6.8 ounces)

Instructions:

First, beat all the ingredients in a blender, except the unflavored gelatin. Now set the mixture aside.

Next, pour 5 tablespoons of cold water over the gelatine and leave it to hydrate for 5 minutes. Then heat the gelatine in a bain-marie until it is completely dissolved.

Then add the dissolved gelatine to the blender and blend again until well incorporated.

Finally, transfer the mixture to a plastic mold previously wet with cold water and refrigerate for approximately 1.5 hours, or until it reaches the consistency of gelatine.

Now it’s ready, just unmold and serve chilled.
