How to Make Coconut Dessert

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (395 grams each, about 14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (same measure as the sweetened condensed milk can) milk
  • 1 can (same measure as the sweetened condensed milk can) water
  • 400 grams (14 ounces) freshly grated coconut flakes
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Topping:

  • 200 grams (7 ounces) heavy cream
  • 500 grams (17.6 ounces) semisweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions:

First, organize all the ingredients. Then, put them all into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes or until the mixture starts to pull away from bottom of the pan of the pan.

Next, continue cooking for an additional 2 minutes after reaching this point, then remove the pan from the heat.

Pour the mixture into a serving glass bowl and set it aside while you prepare the topping.

Topping:

Combine the heavy cream and chopped chocolate in a bowl. Mix well until fully combined, then spread the mixture over the reserved coconut mixture.

Finally, refrigerate for approximately 2 to 3 hours until firm and serve as an afternoon dessert.
