Recipe ingredients:
- 10 to 15 sliced sausages
- 500g pasta (your preferred type)
- 2 packets tomato sauce (about 200g each)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Mozzarella cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
Start by adding a drizzle of olive oil to a large pot or frying pan. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic and sliced sausages and sauté over low heat until everything is fragrant and lightly browned.
Next, pour in the tomato sauce and add the uncooked pasta directly to the pot. Cover with just enough boiling water to submerge the pasta. Season with salt and your favorite seasonings (such as black pepper, oregano or paprika).
Let cook until the pasta is al dente (the noodles are soft on the outside and slightly firm on the inside, with a slight resistance when bitten into the bite) and the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
Finally, turn off the heat and, if desired, add slices or shavings of mozzarella cheese. Let it melt a little before serving.
Extra tip: Want extra cream? Add 2 tablespoons of cream cheese or fresh cream before serving for a rich, velvety texture.
