Recipe ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt (equivalent to 1 small coffee spoon)
- 1½ cups (12 fl oz / 360 ml) of warm milk
- 3½ cups (15.5 oz / 440 g) of all-purpose flour/wheat flour (no baking powder)
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 small packet (10 g / about 2½ tsp) of active dry yeast/for bread
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and active dry yeast. Add the sugar, oil, eggs, and salt, then mix until smooth.
Gradually add the flour, stirring continuously until the dough comes together into a smooth, uniform mass.
Transfer the dough to a greased loaf pan or baking dish. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (about 45–60 minutes).
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Remove from oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, then unmold and serve warm or at room temperature.
