Recipe ingredients:
- 3 to 4 large potatoes
- 7 oz (200 g) of chopped ham
- 3 tbsp of cream cheese or spreadable cheese
- 7 oz (200 g) of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Oregano and other seasonings to taste
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Boil the potatoes (whole, with skin) in water for about 15 minutes, or until fork-tender. Remove and let them cool slightly.
Cut a lengthwise slit in each potato and gently scoop out some of the flesh, creating a cavity for the filling. Set the shells aside.
Mash the scooped-out potato in a bowl. Add the chopped ham, mozzarella, cream cheese, oregano, and any other seasonings you like (such as black pepper, garlic powder, or paprika). Mix well. Add salt to taste.
Fill each potato shell with the mixture. Top with a little extra mozzarella cheese for that melty finish.
Place the stuffed potatoes on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve hot and enjoy your restaurant-style loaded potatoes!
