Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (wheat flour)
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup concentrated passion fruit juice
- ½ cup oil
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3 eggs
Passion Fruit Topping:
- 395 grams (about 14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 50 ml passion fruit pulp (1.7 fl oz)
- Passion fruit seeds to finish
Instructions:
First, add the eggs, oil, passion fruit juice, and sugar to a blender and blend until you achieve a smooth mixture.
Then, transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add the flour, mixing well to combine all the ingredients.
Next, add the baking powder and gently mix it in using a spoon. Pour the batter into a greased and floured round baking pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes, then turn off the oven. Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool, and set it aside while you prepare the topping.
For the topping:
Place the condensed milk and passion fruit pulp in a bowl and mix well. And then, take it to the fridge and leave it for about 10 minutes.
