How to Make Eggless and Fluffy Chocolate Cake
This eggless chocolate cake is simple, soft, and full of flavor. Perfect with coffee or for special occasions. You don’t need cooking classes or costly meal delivery services to prepare something delicious at home. Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (about 9 oz / 260g)
- 1 cup sugar (7 oz / 200g)
- 1 cup hot water (8 fl oz / 240ml)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (4 fl oz / 120ml)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (50% cocoa) (1.75 oz / 50g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (0.4 oz / 12g)
Instructions:
First, add the hot water, oil, sugar, and cocoa powder to a blender. Close the lid and blend for about two minutes, until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
Then, pour the mixture into a mixing bowl. Gradually add the two cups of sifted all-purpose flour, stirring gently. After that, add the baking powder and keep mixing until the batter is smooth and even.
Next, grease a baking pan (8 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall) with margarine and flour. Pour the batter into the pan, spreading it evenly.
After that, place it in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) and bake for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Finally, remove from the oven, carefully remove the cake from the pan, and if you’d like, transfer it to a glass serving dish for a more elegant presentation.
