Recipe Ingredients:
- 6 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
- ΒΌ cup of sugar for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions:
Place the banana slices in a blender and blend until you get a smooth cream. Transfer the banana cream to a saucepan.
Add the sugar, lemon juice, and cocoa powder to the banana cream in the saucepan. Exclude the sugar for sprinkling.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture begins to separate from the bottom and sides of the pan.
Transfer the mixture to a previously greased pan and spread it evenly. Refrigerate for about 3 to 4 hours, or until it sets firmly.
Once set, remove from the fridge and cut into desired shapes. Sprinkle with sugar if desired, and serve.
