• 2 cups (16 fl oz) of milk
• 1 cup (7 oz) of sugar
• 2 ½ cups (about 6.25 oz) of cornmeal flakes
• ½ cup (4 fl oz) of vegetable oil
• 1.75 oz (about ⅓ cup) of shredded coconut – (50 g)
• 1 tablespoon of baking powder
• A pinch of salt
