How to Make Creamy Dessert
This dessert is easy to make, creamy, and a crowd-pleaser. Refreshing and versatile, it’s a delicious way to show you care. You don’t need cooking classes or costly meal delivery services to prepare something delicious at home. With a bit of planning and our detailed meal prep guide, you can create amazing dishes with confidence and ease.
Recipe Ingredients:
- 14 oz of Maria cookies or digestive biscuits (400 g)
- 2 cups of milk (500 ml)
- ¾ cup of unsalted butter, at room temperature (200 g)
- 1 cup of sugar (200 g)
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (optional)
- Decorations of your choice (chocolate chips, nuts, fruits, etc.)
Instructions:
First, in a large bowl, pour in the milk. Next, add the sugar and the vanilla extract.
Then, stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. After that, add the butter at room temperature and mix until smooth and creamy.
If you want a chocolate version, add the cocoa powder and mix until fully incorporated.
Now, grab a glass dish or any container suitable for refrigeration and start assembling the cake.
Begin by placing a layer of cookies on the bottom of the dish, making sure the surface is fully covered.
Then, pour a layer of the milk and butter mixture over the cookies, ensuring they are completely covered.
Repeat this process, alternating layers of cookies and cream, until all the ingredients are used.
Finally, finish with a layer of cream and decorate the top with your favorite toppings, such as chocolate chips, dried fruits, or fresh fruits.
Lastly, cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours — or preferably overnight — until the cookies soften and the dessert reaches the perfect texture.
