Recipe ingredients:

  • 1 packet unflavored gelatin (approx. 0.25 oz / 7 g)
  • 1 lb (450 g) ripe avocado (about 2 large avocados)
  • 1 can (14 oz / 395 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 box (7 oz / 200 g) heavy cream
  • Juice of 1 fresh lime or lemon

Instructions:

Start by preparing the gelatin according to the package instructions, then set it aside to cool slightly.

In a blender, combine the ripe avocado flesh, condensed milk, cream, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Blend for about 3 minutes, until smooth and creamy.

Next, add the dissolved gelatin to the blender and blend for another minute until the mixture is well combined and silky.

Lightly grease a mold or dish with a thin layer of oil. Pour in the avocado mixture, smoothing the top. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours, or until fully set and firm.

When ready to serve, unmold carefully and enjoy this creamy, refreshing dessert.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Use very ripe avocados for a smoother texture and naturally sweet flavor.
  • Swap lime for lemon juice if you prefer a tangier contrast to the sweetness.
  • Want extra flavor? Top with grated coconut or dark chocolate shavings before serving.
