Recipe Ingredients:
- 17.6 oz of canned pineapple (reserve a few slices for decoration) – (500 g)
- 3.5 oz (about 1/2 cup) of cornstarch – (100 g)
- 5.3 oz (about 2/3 cup) of sugar – (150 g)
- 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk
- 6.8 fl oz (about 3/4 cup) of pineapple juice – (200 ml)
- 27 fl oz (about 3 1/3 cups) of milk – (800 ml)
- Water (optional)
Instructions:
Making the Cream
First, in a saucepan, combine the milk, sweetened condensed milk, pineapple juice, and cornstarch. Then, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens.
Adding the Pineapple
Once the cream is ready, chop the pineapple into small pieces and mix it into the cream. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit of water to adjust the consistency.
Assembling in the Dish
Next, coat a glass dish with caramel. Then, pour the pineapple cream into the dish and level it with a spatula.
Finishing the Decoration
Finally, decorate the dessert with the reserved pineapple slices to create a beautiful presentation.
Refrigerating
To finish, refrigerate for at least 5 hours or until completely set.
