How to Make Easy Donut

Donut for snack or breakfast. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 500 g (17.6 oz or about 4 cups) cornstarch
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g (5.3 oz or about ¾ cup) sugar
  • 200 g (7 oz) unsalted margarine
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions:

In a bowl, combine the unsalted margarine and sugar. Mix well until you achieve a creamy consistency.

Add the egg and, if desired, the vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.

Sift the cornstarch and baking powder into the mixture. Stir until a smooth, homogeneous dough forms that doesn’t stick to your hands.

Divide the dough into portions and shape them into rings or your preferred design. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or greased.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes, or until they start to turn golden.

Remove the cookies from the oven, let them cool completely, and serve.
