With a bit of planning and our detailed meal prep guide, you can create amazing dishes with confidence and ease.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 5.3 oz melted butter (150g)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (about 1.75 oz / 50g)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (about 0.5 oz / 15g)
  • 7 oz Maria cookies or tea biscuits (200g)
  • 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk (7 oz / 197g)
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream (33%) (10 fl oz / 300ml)
  • 1 bar semi-sweet chocolate (3.5 oz / 100g)
  • Ground cinnamon and nutmeg, to taste

Instructions:

First, crush the cookies in a food processor or blender until they turn into a fine, even flour.

Then, transfer the cookie crumbs to a bowl and add the melted butter. Mix well until you get a smooth, consistent dough.

Next, press this dough firmly into the bottom of a glass baking dish to form an even base. Right after that, place it in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.

In another bowl, mash the bananas well. Add the cocoa powder and sweetened condensed milk, mixing until everything is well blended.

After that, pour in the heavy cream and beat until you get a smooth, creamy texture. Then, add the ground cinnamon, grated nutmeg, and chopped walnuts. Mix again gently.

To finish, pour the filling over the chilled cookie crust. Finally, you can either grate some semi-sweet chocolate on top or melt it and drizzle it over the dessert.

Lastly, refrigerate the glass dish for at least 4 hours or until the dessert is fully set.

Serve well chilled and enjoy every spoonful of this easy, no-bake banana dessert!
