See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.
Recipe Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups of sour starch (polvilho azedo)
- ¾ cup of soybean oil (180 ml)
- 1 cup of milk (240 ml)
- Grated cheese to taste
Instructions:
First, place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Next, lightly grease large muffin molds with oil.
Then, fill each mold to the top with the batter. If you like, you can add small pieces of white cheese to each mold.
After that, place them in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) and bake until the muffins are golden.
Then, carefully remove them from the oven.
Lastly, serve while still warm. Saint Benedict Muffins taste best when served fresh, alongside a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
