- 9 cups of granulated sugar
- 3 cups of water
- 2 cups of sugar for coating

- 6 envelopes of unflavored gelatin powder (approximately 1.5 ounces total)
- Food coloring drops to taste
Instructions:
First, hydrate the powdered gelatine in a saucepan with the water and set aside. Then bring the pan to the boil, stirring until the gelatine is completely dissolved, but without letting the mixture boil.
Then, with the gelatine already dissolved, add the sugar and keep stirring until it starts to boil. It is essential to stir continuously to ensure that the sugar dissolves completely.
Then, as soon as the mixture starts to boil, remove it from the heat and add the food coloring and essence of your choice.
Next, make sure you use a coloring that matches the essence you have chosen, such as strawberry essence with red coloring or orange essence with orange coloring.
Then grease a pan with oil and pour the gelatine mixture into it. Now let it set for approximately 12 hours at room temperature and out of the fridge.
Finally, after this period, unmold the mixture and cut it into squares or the desired shape, then roll the jujubes in crystal sugar for the finishing touch.
