Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 package of Maria cookies
- 2 containers (7 oz each) of heavy cream
- 2 cups of whipped cream
- 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
- 10 tablespoons of powdered milk
- ¼ cup of milk (for moistening the cookies)
- White chocolate shavings (for decoration)
Instructions:
First, add the sweetened condensed milk and powdered milk to a saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir well, and then add the heavy cream. Continue stirring until the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the pan. Turn off the heat and set aside.
Next, using a mixer, prepare the whipped cream according to the package instructions. Once ready, gently fold it into the reserved cream.
In a glass dish, spread ⅓ of the cream at the bottom. Then, make a layer with the cookies dipped in milk. After that, add another layer of cream followed by another layer of cookies. Finish with a final layer of cream. Finally, sprinkle white chocolate shavings on top as desired.
Place in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to set. After this time, enjoy this delicious and simple powdered milk dessert.
