Recipe Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of lemon juice (60 ml)
- 2 pinches of salt (3 grams)
- 1½ cups of all-purpose flour (190 grams)
- ¼ cup of oil (60 ml)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar (50 grams)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder (6 grams)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Granulated sugar for sprinkling
Instructions:
Dough: First, in a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
Then add the oil, lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir well until a uniform dough forms.
Shaping the cookies: After that, transfer the dough to a floured surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out until it’s about 0.5 cm thick.
Then cut the dough into sticks of the desired size and sprinkle them with crystal sugar.
Baking: Finally, preheat the oven to 356 °F or 180 °C. Now arrange the sticks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned and crispy. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
