After that, pour the batter into a baking pan greased with oil. If using a rectangular pan, the ideal size is 9×13 inches (23×32 cm). If you prefer a tube pan, choose one that is 8 or 9 inches (21–22 cm) in diameter. Then bake in a preheated oven at 356 ºF (180 ºC) for about 40 minutes. Finally, increase the temperature to 392 ºF (200 ºC) during the last few minutes to lightly brown the top.
Lastly, let the cake cool slightly before removing it from the pan. To finish, you’ll have a soft, delicate cake that’s perfect with coffee or tea.
