How to Make Cake with Creamy Guava Filling

Recipe Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of granulated sugar (240 ml)
- 1 cup of whole milk (240 ml)
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 1 can of corn kernels, drained
- 1 ½ cups of cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 5.3 ounces (150 grams) of cream cheese (Catupiry)
- Guava paste to taste
Instructions:
First, put the eggs, green corn, milk, sugar and butter in a blender and blend for about a minute.
Then add the flocão (Yoki Kimilho) and blend for another 30 seconds or so. Then add the yeast and mix quickly.
Then pour half the batter into a greased and floured baking dish, spread the catupiry and guava over the batter and cover with the other half.
Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until the surface is golden brown.
Once baked, allow to cool slightly before serving and it’s ready.
