Recipe Ingredients:
- 14 oz (395 g) of sweetened condensed milk
- 21.2 oz (600 g) of cornstarch
- 7 oz (200 g) of butter
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and butter using a whisk until smooth and combined.
Gradually add the cornstarch while stirring continuously, until the dough is firm enough to knead by hand. Knead the dough until smooth and no longer sticky.
Take a portion of the dough, roll it into a long log, and cut it into equal-sized pieces. Shape them into small squares and press the tops with a spoon for decorative lines (optional).
Repeat the process with the rest of the dough and place the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for around 20 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
Remove from the oven, allow the cookies to cool completely, and serve them as an afternoon snack or with breakfast.
