- 2 cups self-rising flour/wheat flour (about 240 g / 8.5 oz)
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk (about 305 g / 10.7 oz)
- Sugar and ground cinnamon for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix the self-rising flour and condensed milk until you get a smooth, firm dough that’s easy to shape.
With lightly greased hands, roll small balls of dough. Keep in mind they will puff up while frying.
Heat oil over medium heat and fry the dough balls until golden brown, turning them so they cook evenly on all sides.
Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Optional: While still warm, sprinkle with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot as an afternoon treat!
