Recipe Ingredients:
- 500 ml/16.9 fl oz (2 cups) milk
- 200 grams (7 oz) heavy cream
- 790 grams (28 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup powdered milk
- 4 egg yolks, strained
- 2 tablespoons margarine
For the Topping:
- 200 grams (7 oz) milk or semi-sweet chocolate
- 100 grams (3.5 oz) heavy cream
Instructions:
For the Pudding:
In a saucepan, dissolve the powdered milk in the sweetened condensed milk. Then, add the egg yolks, heavy cream and margarine.
Stir until well combined, then pour in the milk. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly. Wait until it starts bubbling around the edges.
Once it bubbles, turn off the heat, let it cool, and transfer the mixture into a greased mold. Freeze for about 6 hours.
For the Topping:
Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. Add the heavy cream and mix until smooth.
Let the chocolate ganache cool. Finally, remove the pudding from the mold, pour the ganache over it, and serve.
