How to Make Delicious Apple Pie

A light dessert that combines flavor and health, perfect for any occasion. Here’s how to make it with simple steps. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups of rolled oats (about 5.3 oz) – (150g)
  • 4 apples
  • 3 tablespoons of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Sliced almonds for garnish

Instructions:

Start by grinding the oats in a food processor or blender until they become a fine flour.

After that, wash the apples well, remove the cores, and cut them into smaller pieces.

Next, process one of the apples into a purée – a hand mixer can also be used.

In a bowl, combine the ground oats, apple purée, and egg until the mixture is smooth.

Then, grease a baking dish with a little oil and spread the oat mixture evenly on the bottom and sides. Set aside.

Now, cook the pieces of the remaining three apples in a saucepan with about ⅓ cup of water until they are soft.

Once cooked, add the raisins and honey, stirring well. Spread this mixture over the crust and sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is set.
