How to Make Easy Skillet Bread

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (optional)

Instructions:

In a bowl, beat the egg well until it starts to become airy. Gradually add the cornstarch, mixing until smooth. Add water as needed if the dough becomes too dry.

Stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese and baking powder (if using) until the mixture is fully combined.

Pour the batter into a greased nonstick skillet, spreading it out evenly. Cover the skillet and cook over low heat, flipping when the bottom turns golden brown to cook the other side.
