Recipe Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sugar (7 oz) – (200 g)
- 2 cups of milk (16.9 fl oz) – (500 ml)
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
- 14 oz of Maria or digestive biscuits – (400 g)
- 1 cup of butter at room temperature (7 oz) – (200 g)
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder (optional)
- Decorations of your choice (chocolate chips, nuts, fruits, etc.)
Instructions:
First, using a large bowl, pour in the milk and add the vanilla essence and sugar. Then stir so that it is well mixed and the sugar is completely dissolved.
Now add the room temperature butter and mix until you get a smooth, creamy consistency.
After that, if you prefer a chocolate variation, add the cocoa powder and mix until completely incorporated.
Then cool the pan or use a fountain and start assembling the cake. So start by placing a layer of cookies at the bottom of the fountain, leaving the entire surface covered.
Then, on top of the cookies, place a layer of the milk and butter mixture, leaving it completely covered, now repeat the process alternating layers of cookies and the mixture until you’ve used up all the ingredients.
