Recipe ingredients:
- 500 ml (17 fl oz) of milk
- 200 g (7 oz) of heavy cream
- 395 g (14 oz) of sweetened condensed milk
- 100 g (3.5 oz) of shredded coconut
- 1 glass (200 ml / 6.8 fl oz) of coconut milk
- 2 packets (12 g / 0.42 oz) of unflavored gelatin
- 12 tablespoons of warm water
Instructions:
In a blender, combine the milk, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut milk. Blend on high for about 2 minutes until smooth. Set aside.
In a small bowl, dissolve the unflavored gelatin in 12 tablespoons of warm water. Stir well until completely dissolved.
Add the dissolved gelatin to the blender and blend for 1 more minute to incorporate everything thoroughly.
Pour the mixture into a lightly greased (with oil) mold. Place in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
Once chilled and set, carefully remove from the mold. Optionally, top with extra sweetened condensed milk and shredded coconut for a decadent touch.
Tip: Serve cold for best texture and flavor. This dessert is perfect for summer parties or a refreshing treat after meals!
