How to Make Salted Cake in a Blender

Recipe Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk (8.5 fl oz / 240ml)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (4 fl oz / 120ml)
- 1 teaspoon salt (0.2 oz / 5g)
- 1 cup cornmeal (fubá) (4.4 oz / 125g)
- 1.8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (or other fresh cheese of your choice – 50g)
- 1 cup canned corn, drained (about 5.6 oz / 160g)
- 1 tablespoon baking powder (0.5 oz / 15g)
- Chopped fresh herbs to taste (parsley and scallion)
Instructions:
First, in the blender jar, place the eggs, milk, grated mozzarella cheese, and corn. Blend well until all the ingredients are completely mixed.
Then, add the vegetable oil, Mimoso cornmeal, and salt. Turn on the blender again and blend until everything is well incorporated.
Next, add the chopped parsley to taste and the baking powder. Gently mix so that the baking powder and parsley are evenly distributed in the batter.
After that, transfer the batter to a buttered glass baking dish and dusted with cornmeal.
Place it in the preheated oven at 356 °F (180 °C) for approximately 35 to 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and fully baked.
