- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar – (200 grams)
- 7 ounces chocolate cookies – (200 grams)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions:
First, bring the milk and half the sugar to the boil in a saucepan.
Then, in a bowl, combine the remaining sugar with the cornflour and add the egg yolks, stirring well.
Then gradually pour the milk mixture into the bowl, stirring constantly. Then transfer everything back to the saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
Then remove from the heat, strain the cream and, using a deep bowl, make alternating layers of the previously prepared cream and chocolate cookies.
Finally, refrigerate until well chilled and sprinkle with chocolate shavings before serving.
