How to Make Banana Candy

This dessert has excellent yield. See below the list of all ingredients and required quantities. And then, a very complete preparation method with details of the recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of sugar
  • 6 ripe bananas

Instructions:

Start by adding the sugar to a saucepan over medium heat. Stir continuously until it melts. The caramel is ready when it turns golden brown and glossy.

Mash the bananas with a fork and add them to the caramel. Stir well to combine.

Continue stirring constantly until the mixture starts to slightly pull away from the sides of the pan, which should take about 5 minutes. Then, turn off the heat.

Finally, transfer the dessert to a glass dish, refrigerate for about 2 hours (or until firm), and then it’s ready to serve.
