  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz) – (395 g)
  • 1 carton of heavy cream (about 7 oz) – (200 g)
  • 1/2 cup of shredded coconut (fresh or desiccated)
  • 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
  • Chopped dried fruits (such as raisins, apricots, and nuts) for a special touch
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon or chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Preparing the Sweet Treat:

First, in a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, butter, and vanilla extract (if using).

Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Then, once the mixture begins to thicken (about 3 to 5 minutes), add the shredded coconut and keep stirring for another 1 to 2 minutes, until it reaches a creamy consistency.

Adding the Special Touch:

Next, remove the saucepan from the heat and mix in the chopped dried fruits, such as raisins, apricots, and walnuts. These ingredients add the perfect festive touch to the dessert.

After that, transfer the mixture to individual cups or a glass dish and top with ground cinnamon or chocolate shavings for decoration.

Finally, let the dessert cool at room temperature or refrigerate it for about 30 minutes.
